“I have been taking French classes with Language Door for years. It is like my meditation time. I am so happy that they are offering online classes during this difficult time. Having the class every week and seeing my teacher and other students definitely give me a sense of routine and comfort.”

"We couldn't be happier with Language Door ! My two kids have been studying Spanish for the last 3 years and can now read, write and converse. Not to mention they enjoy speaking Spanish and love their teachers , who are native speakers. Studying online gives a lot of flexibility , we love that as well!"
Zinat

LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE IN SANTA FE

Santa Fe is the capital of the U.S. state of New Mexico. The area surrounding Santa Fe was occupied for at least several thousand years by indigenous peoples who built villages several hundred years ago on the current site of the city.  Santa Fe, which means Holy Faith in Spanish, is New Mexico’s fourth largest city with a population of 84,683 in 2019. Residents are primarily Hispanic, Anglo and Native American people. Situated at 7,000 feet in the foothills of the southern Rocky Mountains, Santa Fe is the highest and oldest capital in the U.S. Founded between 1607 and 1610, it’s America’s second oldest city.In 1912, New Mexico officially achieved statehood. Today, its unique offerings of art, culture and ancient traditions make it a world-class destination, drawing more than 1 million visitors each year.   Tourism, a major element of the Santa Fe economy, attracts visitors year-round with its climate and related outdoor activities, such as skiing in years of adequate snowfall; hiking in other seasons, plus cultural activities of the city and the region.   The city is considered one of the world’s great art cities, due to its many art galleries and installations, and is recognized by UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network. Cultural highlights include Santa Fe Plaza and the Palace of the Governors, and the Fiesta de Santa Fe, as well as distinct New Mexican cuisine restaurants and New Mexico music performances.   As of 2017, 14.5% of Santa Fe residents were born outside of the country. The most common birthplace for the foreign-born residents of New Mexico was Mexico, followed by Germany and The Philippines. Learning a language in Sante Fe is a wonderful way to connect to the city’s community while developing self-growth. From connecting to the residents of the city, expanding your career, or traveling the world, Language Door is here to help you connect to people in all aspects of your life.
