“I have been taking French classes with Language Door for years. It is like my meditation time. I am so happy that they are offering online classes during this difficult time. Having the class every week and seeing my teacher and other students definitely give me a sense of routine and comfort.”

"We couldn't be happier with Language Door ! My two kids have been studying Spanish for the last 3 years and can now read, write and converse. Not to mention they enjoy speaking Spanish and love their teachers , who are native speakers. Studying online gives a lot of flexibility , we love that as well!"
Zinat

"Language Door has been amazing for me! I started taking Russian classes with the wonderful Kseniia about 3 months ago and I have improved dramatically in such a short time! Language Door is great at matching you up with the right teacher for you. I highly recommend them for anyone trying to learn a new language or improve their skills."

Rochester is a city in the U.S. state of New York, the seat of Monroe County and the third-most populous, with an estimated population of 205,695 in 2019. The city of Rochester forms the core of a much larger suburban, and rural area. Rochester has a greater metro population of around 1 million people, across six counties. Rochester’s economy is defined by technology and education. The Rochester metropolitan area is the fourth-largest regional economy in New York State and the city’s gross metropolitan product is 57 billion above Albany and Syracuse. Rochester is also known for its culture, in particular its music culture; institutions like the Eastman School of Music and the Rochester International Jazz Festival anchor a vibrant music industry, ranked as one of the top ten music scenes in the US in terms of the concentration of musicians and music-related business. It is the site of multiple major festivals every year and is home to several world-famous museums such as The Strong National Museum of Play and the George Eastman Museum, the oldest photography collection in the world and one of the largest. Known in the late 1990’s to have the largest per-capita deaf population in the United States, Rochester is also home to the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.  The Rochester Metro is ranked highly in terms of livability and quality of life and is often considered to be one of the best places in America for families due to low cost of living, highly ranked public schools and a low unemployment rate.  Over the course of the past 50 years Rochester has become a major center for immigration, particularly for arrivals from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. Rochester had the highest percentage of Puerto Ricans of any major city in the United States in 2013, one of the four largest Turkish American communities, one of the largest Jamaican American communities in any major U.S city and a large concentration of Polish Americans along with nearby Buffalo, New York. In addition, Rochester was ranked number 9 in the nation for the largest Italian population in the United States in 2018.   From connecting to the residents of the city, expanding your career, or traveling the world, Language Door is here to help you connect to people in all aspects of your life.
